Upon successful completion of the paramedic program, the graduate is eligible to sit
for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) exam for paramedic
and upon submission of an application to the State of Mississippi, is then eligible
for employment with an ambulance service.
Being a national and state certified EMT is one of the pre-requisites for enrolling
